Michael Jordan jersey from ’91 fetches $28,554

SOUTH MILWAUKEE, Wisc. — A game-worn Michael Jordan jersey from 1991 sold for $28,554 in a MEARS auction that ended early Dec. 6. A Ty Cobb pro model bat from the 1920s sold for $15,757. Among other items that sold were:

  • A pair of Ernie Banks game-worn cleats, signed, that came from former pitcher Dick Radatz for $6,208;
  • A Robin Yount home Brewers jersey, signed, for $9,782;
  • A 1997-’98 Kobe Bryant game-worn home Lakers jersey for $5,124;
  • A Dennis Rodman black alternative, game-worn Bulls jersey from ’97-’98 for $3,768;
  • A Rob Gronkowski New England Paatriots home jersey for $3,113;
  • And a Mike Schmidt Phillies game-worn cap, signed, which was purported to be “his first professional cap,” for $1,482.
